Last month we saw this selfie taken by Montgomery County Treasurer Jason Salus (D) and it has been bothering us.

We realize that selling off properties that are delinquent is a necessary thing, however, it is absolutely not something that should be part of any type of celebratory selfie.

These sales are part of a process which results in families losing their homes. It is not a good day.
