Repairs continue on Germantown Pike after water main break – Update – Road has reopened

Update – The road is completely reopened as of the morning of May 23rd.

Images from a drone show the damage to the westbound lanes of Germantown Pike in Plymouth Meeting just east of the Plymouth Meeting Mall. As of 6:00 p.m. on Monday, May 22nd the roadway was still being repaired and as of 9:00 p.m., Sigalert.com shows the westbound lanes of Germantown Pike (between Plymouth and Chemical roads) closed along with the off-ramp from 476 North.

Above on the left is an image from May 22nd that shows what appears to be damage to the hillside adjacent to Germantown Pike. The image on the right is from Google and shows the same hillside earlier in 2023.
