As you probably know, The StoneRose had a fire a few weeks ago and they are currently closed while they make repairs. They also hope to improve on their previous configuration by moving the kitchen to a proposed extension at the rear of the building. The kitchen has been located in the basement.
Above is a clip from The StoneRose’s Facebook asking their patrons to help them with this process. If you want to help them through the process they ask you write a letter to the Zoning Hearing Board of Conshohocken Borough. Their zoning hearing is in two weeks. There are two versions of the letter, one for business owners and one for residents. Text for both are below. If you chose to send a letter the address is:

To The Zoning Hearing Board of Conshohocken Borough:
As a fellow business owner in Conshohocken, I support the application of The StoneRose Restaurant for its minor expansion and relocation of the kitchen to the rear of the premises. This expansion has been explained to both increase the working standards for his staff, and more importantly the safety for his building, staff, patrons, and surrounding businesses and residents. This business has been a source of great pride for Conshohocken during its operation and is an added attraction along Fayette Street, as well as a significant compliment to many other businesses. The neighborhood would benefit by its expansion and I urge the Board to approve the relief sought by the owner Brian Pieri. This property is in total keeping with the present character and scope of the businesses and homes which are nearby. In fact, the kitchen being relocated to the rear of the property insures the improved safety of the surrounding properties. I can also personally vouch that the owner, Brian Pieri, as both a resident of Conshohocken and a business owner, has put a lot of time, effort, and resources into improving the landscape of this town. I urge immediate approval.
Thank You,

Re: Stone Rose Restaurant – 822 Fayette Street
To The Zoning Hearing Board of Conshohocken Borough:
As a resident of the Borough and patron of The StoneRose Restaurant, I urge the Zoning Board to approve all of the relief requested by owner Brian Pieri. His plan to relocate the kitchen to a rear extension of the building makes great “safety sense.” The minor expansion is certainly in keeping with all of the surrounding properties which are mostly non-conforming. I don’t believe there would be any adverse impact to the neighborhood and my experiences to date verify that the current on street parking availability is more than adequate. The StoneRose Restaurant has been a very valuable asset to our neighborhood, and I/we think these improvements would only add to that as well as the safety of its employees and patrons.
Thank You,
