Unofficial results show Independent Ralph Frey topping incumbent Democrat Colleen Leonard in Conshohocken’s 7th Ward

Unofficial results from the November 7th general election show Independent candidate Ralph Frey topping incumbent Democrat Colleen Leonard for the Ward 7 seat on Conshohocken’s Borough Council.

Leonard has represented Ward 7 for two terms and in recent years has been the council’s president.

The printout from the machine at the polling location shared with MoreThanTheCurve.com shows Frey with 196 votes, Leonard with 154, and zero write-ins. We were told that this count included the mail-in ballots, however, Montgomery County’s election results website shows one write-in-vote among the mail-in ballots. So we are not 100% confident the 350 votes include the mail-in vote. As of 9:16 p.m., the county’s website does not show any votes cast in person.

Either way, Frey comes out on top (unofficially at this point).

UPDATE

As we suspected, the mail-in ballots weren’t included in the total from the machine. Below are the updated numbers as of 9:42 p.m.
